2020 CSA Summer Registration is currently closed/full. If our attendance at farmers markets continue to delay/cancel we will reopen the summer registration
The 2019 Season was very exciting for us with so many changes, we now have 3 large high tunnels that give us a head-start on greens in the spring time and an extended season in the early winter. Tomatoes and cucumbers grow amazing in these high tunnels and the protected environment they provide. As a new project there will be ginger and turmeric inter-planted within the tomatoes, will be available around the beginning of October mother nature decides their success.
In April/May of 2020 we are slated to break ground for our new pole barn that will house the new wash station and walk in cooler and some proper storage for grain for the various poultry and hay for our sheep.
We will have our first lamb available for market around Late May/Early June, the lamb/mutton is not certified organic but will be next year as they transition properly. As of spring 2020 we will now have Certified Organic Duck available and duck eggs along with a limited amount of chicken eggs, oh those almost orange yolks make them so tasty from their free ranging outside, no cages allowed for our poultry!
We also will be adding turkeys for the 2020 season, it has been a few years since we had turkeys available and are very, very excited to have them available again!!! The turkeys will be certified organic before they are available!
Farm tours by appointment will begin during the 2020 season as well for anyone interested, especially homeschoolers! A great learning opportunity for everyone!
Please always feel free to ask questions! The CSA programs are open for the 2020 season as of 12/14/2019, this program is the most important spring boost economically after many months with no income supporting the farm while waiting for spring crops to perform. The participation in this program is very VERY important to us!
