A sincerce and heartfelt thank you to everyone for a successful season during 2022. I cannot thank everyone enough , year after year for supporting my farm. Without all of our customers, friends and neighbors we would be nothing!!!
We do not anticipate a lot of changes for the 2023 season. The only big change will be planting more elderberry bushes and establishing a new area with additional yellow Anne raspberries. The building of our new sheep barn begins in mid May and an expansion to the chicken coop/turkey house is planned as well. Yes we will be doing turkeys again!
The Upick area will not be available for elderberries until 2024 for the public they are still young bushes that establishing themselves. So excited for this adventure as it has a future promise of us having on farm events to include elderberry wine for sale, tastings and picnics.
The small upick area for flowers will be available again around early to mid July for 2023 to include celosia, lisianthus, gladiolas, daisys, zinnias and sunflower. Other varieties still to be determined.
Please always feel free to ask questions! The CSA programs are open for the 2023 season as of 12/15/2022, this program is the most important spring boost economically after many months with no income supporting the farm while waiting for spring crops to perform. The participation in this program is very VERY important to us!
